Meet the Team
Bob Barreto
Bob Barreto brings a long history of business success and extensive knowledge of the residential building industry in the Carolinas. Bob has developed multiple residential developments and built dozens of homes in the Upstate. Bob previously served as Chief Executive Officer of GBS Building Supply, one of the largest privately held companies in the Carolinas and a leading supplier of building products to the residential construction industry. He led the Greenville Home Builders Association as its President. He previously served as Senior Vice President and Director of Mergers and Acquisitions for Iron Mountain. Bob holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Clemson University. When Bob and his wife, Karen, aren't traveling to attend Formula 1 races, they spend most of their time with their two grown children and 2 small grandchildren. Phillip Day
For the first 18 years of his career, Phillip Day was a practicing Texas attorney specializing in business litigation. He also successfully developed commercial and residential real estate in Texas. In 2000, Phillip co-founded B2B Media, an award-winning creative marketing company that served every major telecommunications company in the United States. Most recently, Phillip was Senior Vice President for IMI Resort Living, the acknowledged leader in residential resort sales and marketing. Phillip holds a B.B.A. (Real Estate & Law) from the Hankamer School at Baylor University and a J.D. from the Baylor University School of Law. Phillip and his wife, Gayla, are the proud parents of four children and spend most of their free time admiring their seven young grandchildren.
Shelby Day
Shelby Day joined the Falcon team as Director of Operations in February of 2019 and brings with her nearly a decade of experience in helping startups, small businesses, and busy professionals reach a higher level of efficiency. Her background ranges from assisting network executives and television writers to working directly under C-level executives of a pharmaceutical company seeking FDA approval. Before joining Falcon, she was in an operational role helping to grow a successful web-based retail business. Shelby graduated from St. John’s University Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Psychology. Eric Chastain
Eric Chastain joined the Falcon team in May of 2021 as its Project Coordinator. Born and raised in the Upstate, Eric most recently served as Business Development Manager and Project Manager for one of Falcon's most trusted sub-contractors, Palmetto Grading & Drainage. Eric's experience includes managing significant development projects for Palmetto clients Kenworth Worldwide, BMW and Tindall. Falcon took note of Eric's talents as he guided Palmetto's team on several previous Falcon projects including Trailside at Drayton Mills, Echo Ridge, Copper Run and Chapel Green. Eric earned his BA in History from the University of South Carolina Upstate. He and his wife, Stephanie, are raising two children, Ramsey Larke and Trotter, while making Spartanburg their home.
